Our friends

our friends in St. James's

We are incredibly proud of our neighbourhood of St. James’s. We have the pleasure of being surrounded by some of the very best makers, artisans and provisioners in the world and we are privileged to call them our friends. When you next pay us a visit we wholeheartedly recommend you drop in on some of our neighbours.

Berry Bros. & Rudd is Britain’s oldest wine and spirit merchant, having traded from the same shop since 1698.

Today the company also has offices in Japan, Singapore and Hong Kong, a Wine School and an exclusive fine wine and dining venue in London’s St James’s. We are honoured to hold two Royal Warrants for H.M. The Queen and H.R.H. The Prince of Wales.

A visit to their iconic store at 63 Pall Mall when in town is a must.

Established in 1676, Lock & Co. is the oldest hat shop in the world, the oldest shop in London & one of the oldest family-owned businesses still in existence.

Revered for centuries-honed craftsmanship, their innovative designs have graced the heads of some of the greatest figures in history. Admiral Lord Nelson wore a Locke & Co. bicorne into the Battle of Trafalgar. Sir Winston Churchill adopted their Cambridge and Homburg hats as his trademarks. Dashing author Oscar Wilde was a fan, while the equally debonair Beau Brummell procured Locke & Co. hats as part of his sartorial repertoire. How’s that for a roll call of clients?
